meet the artist

I'm Carina Exner, an illustrator and designer living between Mallorca and Germany. In 2024, I started capturing the island’s warm light, inspired by the way it falls into the streets and reflects in the eyes. My postcards and prints are a way to bring that feeling home—to make people smile and remember the warmth of Mallorca, even long after their trip.

I studied art and economics as a double bachelor's degree, but my biggest teacher has been traveling. There's always a sketchbook with me, helping me see the world from different perspectives and slow down in the middle of it all. I once sketched on a crowded street in New York, watching people rush by while I took a quiet moment to capture it. Watercolor is one of my favorite mediums, along with drawing and photography. And if there's one thing I love as much as art, it's coffee—not just for the taste, but for the feeling of sitting in a café, watching the world move, and finding peace in the moment.
